University of Le Havre, France
Established in 1984, the Université Le Havre Normandie is a medium-sized university which offers a welcoming and friendly living environment in the heart of the Normandy area. The university’s location in Le Havre, France’s second busiest port, and its close relationship with local industry, facilitate hands-on training and students’ personal and professional development.
There are three main further education and research departments: science and technology, international business, and humanities. Ever since its creation, the university has developed an outward-looking attitude and plays a key role in its regional environment.
It shares with local and regional companies its scientific expertise based on its international experience, and its commitment to ethics and sustainable development, including logistics, transport networks and smart ports.
The university also has a centre for promoting research in industrial and port logistics, management, mobility, town and country planning - its “Logistics Campus”. International relations are central to its strategy and the university is very much connected to the world with a network of over 250 international partnerships.
